I really enjoy watching the shows Netflix has produced. Today I’m sharing my current top 5 including a comedy-drama, an action series, a documentary, a reality-show and a romantic comedy.
Grace & Frankie
Grace and Frankie are two women in their 70’s who are brought together after their husbands announce they are gay and in love with each other. The hilarious comedy-drama tells the story of Grace and Frankie who become friends due to their situation and let’s just say: they’re not that good of a match at first..
Iron Fist is a Marvel comic that has now been created into a Netflix-Series. Danny Rand, the heir of Rand Enterprises, returns to New York City as a trained martial arts expert after being presumed dead for over 15 years to reclaim his families company. Besides that his martial arts skills give him the oportunity to call upon the power of the Iron Fist. To me the story sounded a bit odd at first, but I’ve been really enjoying the show so far!
Chef’s Table is a documentary series about the world’s best chef cooks. Each episode of the series tells the story of a world-renowned chef cook. The restaurants and the food look beautiful and be aware: eat something delicious before you start watching this show.. And you might want to go out afterwards to buy new knives and loads of fresh ingredients!
Terrace House is a japanese reality show about six young japanese people living in a house together. Normally I don’t really like reality shows, but as this is Japanese, the people are modest, nice and really interesting. And I loooove all the japanese food they eat on the show.
This romantic comedy series is about Gus and Micky who meet, fall in love, but it just doesn’t really work out somehow. I really enjoyed this series and binge-watched the second season in one go.. The show is just so real. That feeling when the person you like finally texts you back. Going to parties you don’t really know anybody and just feeling awkward all the way through.
Do you have any favourite shows on Netflix? Or have you watched any of these?
