The Everyday Makeup

IMG_0628As it’s still not really spring yet where we live (who has decided that 10°C in May is okay?) I like to bring a bit of warmth and sun into my makeup. And finally look a bit tanned… In the mornings I don’t have that much time so I try to minimize the number of products I use and simplify on a day to day basis where needed.

To prime I use my trusty TheBodyShop Tea Tree Primer to minimize visible pores around my nose, my chin and my forehead. As a base I then use the TheBodyShop All-In-One BB Cream. This cream looks white at first, but then turns skin-coloured whilst blending it into my skin with either a beauty blender or the Real Techniques Buffing Brush. Always remember to bring your makeup down your neck so you’re not left with a makeup-line along your chin. To bring some bronze glow into my face I then apply the Bourjois Bronzing Primer (not really a primer, it’s a cream bronzer!) to my temples and in a sort of 3-shape across my cheekbones and my jaw-line using the Real Techniques Stippling Brush. For even more glow I then use the Soap & Glory Wonderbronze as a blush and highlighter.

IMG_0629IMG_0620I then fill any gaps in my brows with the Kiko Eyebrow Sculpt Automatic Pencil in Deep Brunettes and set them in place with the Alverde Clear Brow Gel. As mascara I currently enjoy the Lombagine Amazing Lash Mascara. And on days when I feel like it I switch up my lip balm for the Korres Mango Butter Lipstick in Coral which is extremely moisturizing and fades away evenly (so no worries about being left with a circle of lipstick after a few hours…).

Do you switch up your makeup for the warmer months?
Lots of love, J
